Looking to soak up the sun, play some beach soccer, wade in the water, or swim out to snorkel
with marine life? Cabo San Lucas has plenty of beaches to choose from but here are some of the top
beaches people visit while in Cabo San Lucas.

Chileno Bay

Snorkeling in Cabo is an extremely popular attraction here due to the mass amount of marine
life that rome the waters. The calm waters of Chileno Bay are great for beginner snorkelers who want to
see some of the marine life that Los Cabos has to offer. Located along the coastal corridor between Cabo
San Lucas and San José del Cabo, this beach has some incredible views of the Sea of Cortez. It is great for
families looking to have a beach day that is safe and comfortable. With lots of space for you to set up
beach chairs and umbrellas. You can enjoy playing beach games like soccer or football, or relax by
sunbathing on the sand soaking up the rays of the Baja sun. Either way, I am sure you will love your
beach experience her.

Medano Beach

This beach begins at the east side of the harbor and extends along Cabo San Lucas Bay all the
way to Villa del Palmar. If you are looking to have a little more of a rowdy time with music, bars on the
beach, merchandise to purchase, and to wade around in the water. I would put on those bikinis and
board shorts and head over to Medano Beach. It is the most popular beach here in Cabo and is great if
you’re looking for a fun crowd. This beach has rows of lively bars to visit as you walk along the beach.
Mango Deck, The Office, Cachet, Sur and many more popular bars that are located just steps from the
water play dance music throughout the day to keep the party going. If you are in the mood for a little
shopping, there are people walking the beach selling novelty items and handmade crafted gifts if you
want to get a couple of souvenirs to take home with you. The water at Medano Beach is fairly calm but
can also have some small waves that can make fun for body surfing. If you’re looking for an exciting and
popular spot, this is the beach for you.

Santa Maria Bay

8 miles east of Cabo, as you drive along the Corridor highway connecting Cabo San Lucas with
San Jose del Cabo is the Santa Maria Bay. It is a great area to enjoy some nice quiet time listening to the
waves of the ocean, catch up on some reading, or just enjoy the sweet joy of lounging on the sand and
soaking up the sun. This beach is a well maintained and relaxing location that is great for anybody who
wants to go for a chill, laid back beach day.

As we visit these destinations of Los Cabos we must keep in mind how we can keep these
beaches beautiful. Please make sure to take home your belongings and clean up your beach spot so we
can keep enjoying these beach gems for the years to come.
