Where to Eat Cabo San Lucas
Mercado Del Mar
If you’re looking for a place to grab a drink or enjoy some food while also getting a great view of
the marina, Mercado Del Mar is the place to go to. The restaurant has a full view of the Cabo San Lucas
marina and you will get to see all the tour boats passing by so you can get some ideas on what tours you
want to go on while in town. The food is absolutely delicious and they have many options to choose
from to satisfy your hunger and a wide variety of drink selections to quench your thirst. They also throw
weekly events such as Havana Nights, Taco Tuesdays, and Glitter & Glam Nights for locals and tourists to
enjoy throughout the week.. If I were you, I would check out their special Sunday Brunch and try their
famous Nutella French Toast! Mercado Del Mar is located at La Terminal where many of the tour boats
for Wild Cabo Tours are docked. It is an outdoor restaurant on the dock where you can enjoy the light
ocean breeze and the beautiful Baja sun.
Sur Beach Club
Sur is part of the upscale restaurants in Cabo San Lucas. You can go to this restaurant for breakfast,
lunch, and dinner and the best news is that all of their food is incredible. Choose to sit inside the
restaurant with wide window spaces allowing you to get a good view of the ocean, or if you rather be on
the beach they have beach chairs on the sand that you may lounge on while you dine. Enjoy the
excitement of Medano beach where lots of tourists participate in paddle boarding, wadding in the
water, or a nice walk along the beach. The service is friendly, attentive, and quick which makes this place
even more worth visiting. With an amazing view of the Sea of Cortez this place is a go to spot for
vacationers looking for a nice dining experience.
Mama’s Royal Cafe
This restaurant location I have found has an exceptional breakfast menu that is quite affordable.
It is a spot a lot of locals in Cabo go to but tourists do find their way to the gem from word to mouth
marketing. They have many different options for entrees and appetizers to choose from which makes it
a great place to go if you have a group with different cravings. There is usually live acoustic music being
played to keep you entertained while you await your meal. You are also right in the middle of
Downtown Cabo so you can walk around and visit the shops once you’re done.
Tiki Bar
This is a great place to get a good lunch while walking around the marina shopping. It is located
just a few shops down from the beginning of the marina, so you can’t miss it. The atmosphere of this
restaurant is laid back and casual, so feel free to show up in a bikini or some board shorts. They have lots
of food options to choose from but a personal favorite at this spot is the sushi. If you are looking to
watch a game on the TVs but also enjoy the liveliness of the marina, I recommend you give this place a
visit.
Taquería El Paisa
Last but not least, my favorite place to get tacos in Downtown Cabo is Taquería El Paisa. This is a
great place to get quick and excellent food. The tacos here are like nowhere else around and is a casual
restaurant with very affordable food. The great thing about this place is they feature a cart in the middle
of the restaurant full of plenty of toppings to choose from to go on your tacos or meals. If you are
looking to get some good authentic Mexican tacos, I suggest you visit this local gem.
